Me

I am  Muhammad Haroon Akbar Sian, a Textile Engineer by profession. Born on June 28th 1979, I come from the land of all seasons, Pakistan. I got early education from the renowned school of my locality Muslim Senior Model School. Then I got Secondary School Certificate (Matriculation) from a boarding school, Abbottabad Public School & College, Abbotabad (Formerly Railway Public School). My teacher there was Late Mr. Hugh Catchpole [Order of the British Empire (OBE), Commander's Badge of the Order of the British Empire (CBE), Sitara-i-Imtiaz & Hilal-i-Imtiaz] [http://i.colnect.net/images/f/475/787/Mr-Hugh-Catchpole.jpg] & of course a lot of names i can never forget. For me, they were the best years of my life. I got HSSC from Quaid-e-Azam Divisioal Public School & College, Gujranwala. During this tenure, I competed for National Physics Talent Contest, and served as NPTC Co-ordinator Faisalabad. Later I won Presidential Scholarship. I got B.Sc (Textile Engg.) Degree in Textile Processing from UET Lahore while studying in National College of Textile Engineering, Faisalabad (Now National Textile University). I served in MSC Textiles Faisalabad, Kohinoor Textile Mills Rawalpindi and Master Textile Mills Raiwind.

I started collecting stamps in childhood when i got a small envelope with 60-70 stamps in it, my father put many years ago. I collected stamps for many years. But after the communication transformed from conventional letters to e-mail, I could not get many new stamps with the same frequency. It was a transitional phase where i got some coins and my passion got a new face. Years passed but that face is still smiling! :)
I collect all coins by types (Not by Year). But I prefer to keep all different mints/privy marks of a same type and also the same types with major or considerable differences between them. I have made a complete list of them with all the needed technical details.
