Android app for collectors of Canadian coins

A very interesting Android app for collectors of Canadian coins has been developed by our friends from www.allnumis.com:
You can manage your personal collection, your trade list and your wish list:
You can view the details of almost 700 coins starting from the XIX century till present (mint, mintage, material, weight, diameter, catalog prices, images and so on):
You can access the Market Price extra option which lets you see the real value of a coin (based on sold items):
You can download the app from: http://www.amazon.com/product/dp/B00D94MYN0/
Other countries to follow. Until now, we have apps for Canada, Denmark, Romania and Hungary

Helene Schjerfbeck (10th July 1862 - 23rd January 1946) was a Finnish painter. Most widely known for her realist works and self-portraits. Throughout her long life, her work changed dramatically. She was supposedly a Realist, a Romanticist, an Impressionist, a Naturalist, a Symbolist, an Expressionist and a wildly ahead-of-her-time Abstractist. Truthfully, there were elements of all of these in her work as the decades progressed and one would not be incorrect using any of these terms. 2 nice examples of her great paintings:

Guatemala 25 Centavos 2011 - New type

This 2011 item is quite different in design from previous ones (1998 & 2000), so maybe we it must be considered a new type.
It is not made of CuNi, but of austhenitic steel (which is NOT magnetic). Another difference is that the 2011 has reeded edge, while the earlier years have plain edge with lettering. So it definitely IS a new type!

India 1 Rupee 2011 "Rupee" symbol variety

Information from Ashwin Lobo: The "Rupee" symbol of the 2011 is smaller and styled significantly differently from other years. Both varieties may exist for 2011. I have noticed this on the R1 for the moment, but probably exists for the other denominations as well:
Closer detail of the "Rupee" symbol in both coins:

Kazakhstan 50 Tenge 2011 Karaganda - Planchet error

Albania 5 Leke KM#76 Varieties

2011 issue of Albanian 5 leke has some differences with previous ones, The result of the scan shows it all:
Closer detail of the branch, where 2011 issue has no nodule:
Detail of the 'LEKE' word, where 2011 issue is a bit thinner:
Closer detail of the eagles' heads and upper lettering, where 2000 issue is a clearly different typography. Also, 2011 letters are smaller than 1995:
Detail of the years' typographies and sizes:

Swaziland 20 Cents 2011 - Smaller type

New circulating type. It seems like there were problems with parking machines, where the last Swaziland 20 cents 2011 fitted and was used instead of same size older and higher denomination coins. Consequence was a new strike of this denomination in same metal, but considerably smaller size, also from South African Mint, also with date 2011.

Solomon Islands 2008 & 2010 Varieties

There are some varieties for Solomon Islands coinage before the recent and new 2012 coin family. In the 10 cents of 2010, the 2010 (does a 2008 exist also?) type has a different typography than 2005 (KM#27a):
Exactly the same happens with the 20 cents 2008 and 2010. Both have a different typography than 2005 (KM#28):
For the 50 cents, we can see also the different typography in 2008 (I wonder if there is also a 2010 issue). Besides, this denomination has now a magnetic core, it's not CuNi like 2005 (KM#29):
And finally, the 1 dollar coin, once again we find the different typography in 2008 (is there a 2010 issue?). And it too has a magnetic core, so not CuNi like 2005 (KM#72):
Any confirmation about the smallest denominations (1, 2 and 5 cents) for years after 2005 and before 2012 would be great! (my latest Krause just lists 1 cent 2010 and 2 cents 2006)
1 cent 2010 also has the narrow lettering of the other 2008 and 2010 denominations.
2 cents 2006 has two interesting mint marks (meaning?). See them both in Antoine's PDF.

Kenya 2010 - 3 New Types

New circulating types:
The 5 shillings is magnetic and has a smaller coat of arms. See it here compared to 2009 type (KM#37):
The 10 shillings is magnetic, has a smaller coat of arms and a bigger '10'. See it here compared to 2009 type (KM#35):
The 20 shillings is magnetic and has slightly different numerals and letters styles. See it here compared to 2009 type (KM#36):
Finally, if you're wondering about the 1 shilling, here you can check that 2010 type is not a new type, it is just like before (KM#34):

Seychelles 1 Rupee 2010 - New composition

My friend Dr. Wolfgang Schuster sent me this information about the Seychelles 1 rupee 2010. It exists in both versions, CuNi like previous years (KM#50.2), but also another one with magnetic core (new syb-type), probably nickel clad steel:

Seychelles 5 Rupees 2010 - New composition

My friend Gijs Vlothuizen just informed that this Seychelles 2010 denomination has a magnetic core, so probably it is nickel clad steel, not copper-nickel as previous years (KM#51.2):

SPECIFICATIONS
Weight: 9.10 g

Guatemala 5 & 10 Centavos 2009 & 2010 - Magnetic types

Honduras 5 & 10 Centavos 2010 - Magnetic core

These 2010 items are now brass clad steel. Previous years (KM#72.4 and KM#76.4) were made of brass.

Kyrgyzstan 10 Som 2009 - Edge inscriptions

New circulating type:
Kyrgyzstan issued a new 10 som coin with edge inscription '10 SOM ON SOM' instead of being plain. It has the same design as that of 2009, even the year is the same.

Bahrain 2009 different "Fils" calligraphy

New circulating types. The 2009 (and on) types of Bahrain have the Arabic word "fils" in the rectangular box over the numeric value, written now in a completely different calligraphy (rectangular) than before (cursive). These must then be considered completely new KM types.
With the help of some contributors we can confirm the existence of, at least, these years:
5 fils 2009, 2010, 2011
10 fils 2009, 2010, 2011
25 fils 2010
50 fils 2010, 2011
100 fils 2009, 2011

Bahamas 25 Cents 2007 - New design

New circulating type:

India 5 Rupees 2007 Khadi Villages error types

New unlisted varieties have been discovered:         'Khadi Villages'
These two are the correct and already catalogued varieties, with diamond (KM#360.1) and M(KM#360.2) mint marks:
These 2 error types have been recently discovered, both of the diamond mint mark:
Both have a mistake in the English spelling (VIIIAGES instead of VILLAGES), and second one has also a mistake in the Devanagari legend.

North Korea 5 Won 2005 varieties

Taneli Perätalo sent this image from his own collection, after discovering a very interesting variety of the aluminium North Korean 5 won 2005. Both coins have identical reverse:
Here you can see significantly different obverse designs:

Zimbabwe 5 Dollars 2003 - Plain edge variety

The Zimbabwe 5 dollars from years 2001 and 2002 (KM#13) have a reeded edge and are quite easy to find:
My friend Wolfgang Schuster has reported that year 2003 issue (which is very scarce) has aplain edge, so should be considered a subtype, and not KM#13 like 2013 Krause edition says:

Bangladesh 5 Taka 1994 & 1996

This is an old gap in Krause catalogue that most of us have already noticed in our collections:
The 5 taka 1994 and 1996 types that Krause currently names as KM#18.1 are in fact quite different.
The main difference is for clouds at top of bridge: 1994 cloud is bit flat and homogeneous, while1996 cloud is a bit higher and made of small joined bunches of clouds.
Right now, both years are type KM#18.1 for Krause. This was already reported and soon 1996 will be a different KM.
Also, there is another 5 taka 1996 completely different, with wider details and different clouds, which is KM#18.2:

Sudan 1 & 2 Dinars 1994 varieties

Wolfgang Schuster sent this image from his own collection, with very interesting varieties of the Sudanese 1 and 2 dinars AH1415/1994 (KM#112 & KM#113).
They both exist with narrow and wide shaded denomination numeral. The reverse side is the same, showing the central bank building:
Egypt 10 Millieme 1967 - New type and new unlisted variety

Two very interesting and unlisted varieties of the Aluminium Egypt 10 milliemes 1967 are discovered:
The known type with 'MISR' above the denomination is listed and pictured with shaded denomination numerals as KM#411 (dated 1967-1386H). But this issue also exists as unlisted sub-type without shading on the numerals:
Additionally, a completely unknown and unlisted type is discovered: the Aluminium 10 Milliemes also has been struck in a version without 'MISR' above the denomination (also dated 1967-1386H), without shading on the numerals. Currently no shaded varieties are known:
